What Tendlio does

3 min read

Tendlio reads your WooCommerce orders, products and customers, finds the problems worth fixing in your store and puts them in one list, with the ones that matter most at the top. Each problem on the list comes with a button that opens the page where you fix it. Some Tendlio tools can also do part of the work for you once you switch them on, like emailing shoppers who left a checkout.

How it works #

  1. Tendlio analyzes your store. It reads your orders, your products with their stock and cost prices, and your customers. The first analysis runs when you finish the setup, and after that Tendlio runs one every week on its own. Re-scan store, at the top of the Dashboard, starts one whenever you want.
  2. Your store gets two scores. The Inventory Score looks at the cash sitting in stock that won’t sell soon, and at whether your best-sellers are in stock. The Customer Score looks at whether your customers come back and keep buying. Each score is a number from 0 to 100 with a grade from A to F, and its breakdown shows the parts it’s made of.
  3. Your to-do list says what to fix first. Each problem Tendlio finds becomes a card on the To do page that says what’s wrong, why it matters and what to do. Critical cards come first, then the ones with the most money behind them.
  4. Each card’s button takes you to the fix. It opens the page where you deal with the problem, for example your restock list, or the list of products with cash tied up in them. When you click Mark done on a card, Tendlio checks at the next analysis whether the problem is gone, and the card comes back if it isn’t. A card about a trend, like best-sellers losing steam, gets that check about 30 days after you mark it done.

What Tendlio can run for you #

Tendlio’s automatic tools put product suggestions in your shop, discount stock that isn’t selling, sort your product listings, email your customers and send you a summary of your store. The Growth engine page lists them and shows which ones are on. Once a tool has enough results, its card there also shows what the tool has brought in. What Tendlio can do for you automatically describes each tool and how to switch it on.

Where to find things #

Each part of your store has its own section in the Tendlio menu:

  • Dashboard: your two scores, your main numbers for the period you pick, your next step from the to-do list, and how your tools are doing.
  • Inventory: your products and how each one sells, what to restock, the sales forecast, discounts on stock that isn’t selling, seasonal products and your suppliers.
  • Customers: your customers and the groups they fall into, abandoned checkouts, the emails you send your customers, and rewards for your best customers.
  • Storefront: the product rows Tendlio can add to your shop, a Deals page, and Smart Product Sort for your product listings.
  • Growth engine: the tools that can run for you, and which ones are on.
  • To do: your whole to-do list.
  • Reports: the detail behind your numbers, including what each tool has brought in.
  • Settings: your store type, cost prices, which orders count as a sale, and email sending.
  • Help: the Getting started checklist, these guides, a way to contact support, and System status.

Where to start #

If you’re new to Tendlio, open Getting started under Help. It’s a checklist that takes you through the setup and the tools one step at a time, easiest first: the tools you switch on in one click come before the ones that need setup, like the emails to your customers. After that, you’ll do the day-to-day work on the To do page: start with the card at the top.

Frequently asked questions #

Does Tendlio change anything in my store on its own? #

Nothing emails your customers or changes your prices until you switch it on. The summary email to you is on from the start.

How often does Tendlio update its numbers? #

Your scores and the analysis of your products and customers update every week, with an analysis Tendlio runs on its own. Sales figures on the Dashboard follow your orders day by day, and your to-do list refreshes each time you open it. Re-scan store runs an analysis whenever you want, for example after you've added cost prices.

Where should I start? #

With Getting started under Help, then with the card at the top of your To do page.
