How to see your activity and cleared to-dos in History

4 min read

History lists what you and Tendlio have done in your store, newest first, and keeps the to-do cards you’ve cleared. From History you can put a card back on your to-do list, or bring back a snoozed card early.

You will learn #

  • Where to find History
  • What each line in the Activity list means
  • How to bring back a snoozed card early
  • What Restore and Delete forever do to a cleared card

Before you begin #

  • History fills up as you use Tendlio. Until something has happened, the page says Nothing recorded yet. Analyses, discounts and campaigns show up there as they happen.
  • Nothing on History changes your store. Restoring or deleting a card changes your to-do list, and nothing else.

Open History #

  1. In your WordPress admin, open Tendlio → Settings, and click the History tab.

You can also get there from the Recent activity card on the Dashboard, with View history → or N more in History →, and from view history → at the bottom of the To do page, once you’ve cleared a card.

Read the Activity list #

Under Activity, each line has a date and what happened, newest first. When the same thing happened more than once on one day, it shows as one line with how many times, for example 4 times.

These are the lines you can see:

  • Store analyzed: an analysis of your store finished.
  • Marked done: or Marked not relevant:, then a card’s title: a to-do card you cleared.
  • You discounted N products by hand and You took the discount off N products: discounts you set or took off yourself that day.
  • Auto outlet discounted N products and Auto outlet stopped discounting N products: products that got an Auto outlet discount that day, or whose discount grew, and products that stopped having one.
  • Campaign sent to N customers: a campaign went out.
  • Abandoned checkout recovered or Saved cart recovered: a shopper finished their order after a recovery email went out. Abandoned checkout returned on its own or Saved cart came back on its own: the shopper came back before any recovery email went out.
  • Tendlio set the offer email to go … after the shopper leaves (was …) and Tendlio set the saved-cart wait to … (was …): Tendlio changed a recovery wait on its own, based on how long your shoppers take to come back by themselves. The first is the Offer email time for checkouts, the second the Cart cutoff for saved carts. How to recover abandoned checkouts and carts explains both.
  • N review requests sent: review request emails that went out that day.
  • N products bought through your on-site recommendations: products bought that day through the recommendation rows on your shop, such as Frequently bought together.

The list keeps up to 60 recent lines. When it’s full, a line above it says that older entries aren’t listed. The Dashboard’s Recent activity card shows the latest few from the last two weeks.

Bring back a snoozed card early #

Cards you’ve snoozed are under Snoozed to-dos, the one coming back soonest at the top. Each one comes back on its own when its time is up, if the problem is still there. To bring one back now, click Bring back now.

If the problem went away while a card was snoozed, the card stays in this list even after its time is up. Bring back now clears it: the card doesn’t come back to your to-do list, because there’s nothing left to fix. The section shows only while you have a snoozed card.

Restore or delete a cleared card #

Under Resolved & dismissed to-dos, the cards you’ve cleared are grouped under Done and Not relevant, each with a count.

  • Restore puts a card back on your to-do list, as long as your latest analysis still found its problem. If the problem is gone, the card doesn’t come back, because there’s nothing left to fix, and it also leaves History.
  • Delete forever removes a card from Done, but it doesn’t mark the problem as fixed. If your latest analysis still found the problem, the card goes back on your to-do list as a new card. Clear all does the same for every card under Done, after you confirm.
  • Cards under Not relevant have no Delete forever, because deleting one would bring the card back on your to-do list. They stay here until you restore them.

A card under Done can also come back to your to-do list on its own, when Tendlio checks it and finds the problem still there. How to work through your to-do list explains when that happens.

Why History works this way #

The same line shows once a day #

Six analyses on one day tell you one thing about that day. Tendlio folds them into one line with a count, so a busy day doesn’t push other lines off the list.

Delete forever doesn’t fix anything #

Tendlio decides whether a problem is fixed from your data, not from a click. A card under Done is your note that you’ve dealt with it. When you delete that note while your latest analysis still finds the problem, Tendlio raises the problem again as a new card.

Additional resources #

Frequently asked questions #

I restored a card, but it isn't on my to-do list. Why? #

Restore only brings back a card whose problem your latest analysis still found. If the problem is gone, there's nothing left to fix, so the card doesn't come back.

I deleted a card from Done, and it's back on my to-do list. Why? #

Delete forever only clears the card from History. If your latest analysis still found the problem, Tendlio raises it again as a new card.

Why can't I delete a card marked Not relevant? #

Deleting it would bring the card back on your to-do list. It stays in History until you restore it.
